FAQ

Questions, answered

Is YThumb free?

Yes. Sign in with Google and you can save up to 10 designs in the cloud and export as many times as you like.

What size should a YouTube thumbnail be?

YouTube recommends 1280×720 pixels (16:9) and a file under 2 MB. YThumb uses that size by default and warns you if an export is too large.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Everything runs in your browser — on desktop for the best experience.

Can I reuse my designs?

Every design is saved to your account. Open it later, duplicate it, change the text and export a new version for your next video.
